What our customers say about us.
I own a GSXR 750 and started using MotoWorks when they were recommended by a number of friends. After an eventful trip to The Alps, my bike developed an electrical fault. After being butchered by a French garage, the bike was recovered to Moto Works. Lee traced every wire to find the fault, which was the alarm. Just shows his tenacity to solve problems. Lee is an excellent mechanic, not only that he is a genuinely nice guy. He goes out of his way to help. I live 30 miles from the shop, but it’s worth the trip.
I ride a 2008 Triumph Sprint ST and live about a 25-minute ride from MotoWorks, which is good as it makes getting there an enjoyable event in itself. Unfortunately, shortly after getting the Sprint it started playing up late on a Friday afternoon in Maidstone. I nursed it to MotoWorks where I was treated to a loan bike and an honest appraisal of what was wrong. Bike repaired by Monday at a sensible price. Now you wouldn’t get that sort of service just anywhere. MotoWorks is simply how I remember biking was. Popping into the bike shop on a ride out for a coffee and a chat, enjoying a bit of the craic with the staff and other riders.
I own a Triumph Street Triple 675 RX which I took to MotoWorks as I wanted my suspension set up and some parts fitted. They were recommended to me by another customer. They’re about 60 miles away and so far I’ve had them carry out a service, fit new tyres, a bike camera, a tracker and do the suspension set up. Very happy with all of the above, the suspension work was excellent as was Lee’s knowledge and explanation of how to adjust it. As it’s being a bit of journey for me I think they should open a branch in Surrey!!
Lee was highly recommended by friends of mine , So off to Sittingbourne from London I went, had a chat with Lee regarding MY Hayabusa gearbox jumping out of second gear .He knew exactly what the problem was, Gave me a rough price which was very reasonable considering the amount of labour that is involved, After removing the engine and looking at the tranny it was apparent there were a few more issues than just the 2nd gear , The original price went out the window, Lee had concerns that if put back together with just 2nd gear replaced there would be more issues later, So together we managed to get a gearbox from America, Lee then sent the tranny away to have the dogs raced cut and polished. Lee then rebuilt the tranny put it back in the engine and then placed the complete engine back on the bike, I was amazed at how well the gearbox changed gear it is better than when it was purchased from new silky smooth , Lee kept to his word of the original price given to me , Lee is probably the most loyal bike mechanic i have ever come across with so much knowledge around motorcycles , Thanks again Lee and team at Moto work
When it comes to service, you just wont get better! I contacted Lee as you are guaranteed top quality work at extremely reasonable prices.
My GSXS-1000F needed a major service and a few other items sorting. I asked Lee if it were possible to do a pickup and drop off service as I work Monday to Friday and leave very early. Although I didn't need it, I was even offered a courtesy bike! Such a stress free way of servicing your bike and in the knowledge that you have people who genuinely care about their reputation working on it is such a bonus. I cant recommend them highly enough. I'll be going back as I always have. Cheers again Lee and team!
Lee was recommended to me, so when the time came that my bike needed something I gave Moto Works a go. I've now used them 3 times and I'm really impressed. Safe to say this place is my new local! The work's been great quality and they even resisted the opportunity to make me feel like a twit when I forgot my new bike won't start when in gear! I would (and do) recommend them to anyone
Took my Daytona 675 to Lee back in May as it was having issues with the idle & engine breaking. With just me describing what I was feeling from the Bike, he had the bike fixed and back to normal in less than 30 minutes! Cannot recommend enough!
His knowledge is incredible and from June this year I was lucky enough to become Lees apprentice.
